A flashback to a young Æsheryn, on an adventure involving betrayal, mystery, and magic. He's exposed to a devout follower of Corellon and witnesses that faith can be a guide in times of uncertainty.
Maltheo is back and describes how his trials and tribulations, and his miraculous resurrection, have changed his outlook for the future. Lotus's magic mansion is revealed. Zadash offers a respite to the group as everyone relaxes for a few days. Magical tattoos join the group together strongly.
Isabelle honors her bargain and helps The Librarians resurrect Maltheo
The Librarians travel to Zadash with Isabelle to confront the Claret Order. What they find instead is the ancient dragon Fryrvæli and much more than they bargained for.
At the Gilded Gargoyle, we are reunited with Isabelle, who is desperate for help regardless of past transgressions. She has a plan, but first - The Claret Order.
The Librarians arrive with Devon in Rexxentrum, get oriented, do some shopping, and discover Maltheo's direct desires. They get a lead on a possible ally.
Devon has a frosty reception by the remaining Librarians, but he maybe key to helping them move forward with their tasks. A great reward from the Diarchy is a boon to their coffers.
The Librarians have returned from the Fey Realm with a corrupted Luxon Beacon. Maltheo is lost, for now; Æsheryn and Briya haven't given up hope. Lotus argues for his people, and Cass becomes the True Queen.
Truush is finally defeated, but at the cost of the lives of Briya and Maltheo. Æsheryn was able to revive the former, but the latter seems for now lost to the great beyond.
The Bheur hags have been defeated and the Queen somewhat secured. The Librarians then find Truush and his portal in his sanctum, guarded by the 4 "horsemen". A deadly battle begins, and Maltheo's life hangs in the balance.
We meet the King of Fate and Flow, regroup at the Bear King's camp, and discuss how to exfiltrate the captive Queen of Luck and Ruin from Truush's guarded Twistspire. Invisible hags catch us off guard.
The beacon is secured while Raokan's race starts. It's a harrowing experience, with Cass of the Librarians ultimately successful. The King of Fate and Flow may have something to say.
In Raokan's twisted castle, darklings Needle, Ink, Coal, and Mind uncover secrets from ancient oracles. They learn of Raokan's deal with traitorous mage Truush, and of the Queen's captivity. After a brutal encounter, some escape, entrusting Maltheo with their findings.
At Twistspire, preparations for a grand race are underway. Among devils and machines, Cass and Maltheo infiltrate and discover a Luxon beacon draining souls. Their disruption enrages Raokan, who is in cahoots with Truush, also making a surprise appearance.
Disguised as fae versions of the keys, the group scouts the race track at Castle Twistspire. They're able to find Mint, but it appears the person they once knew is completely gone.
Kit leads the group to the Resistance, led by Uhuris. We learn Raokan, with the help of Truush, has usurped the Queen of Luck and Ruin. It's time to learn more about an upcoming race that could be the key to his downfall.
The group has lost Fox and Popofsky, just as a battle commences with 7 devils due to the instigation from a surprised masked Elf. We learn Truush, Raukan, and Mint are here somewhere. The Queen has been deposed.
The storm giant is defeated, and the group joins forces with Popofsky and the Empire to finally close the Molaesmyr anomaly. Something goes completely wrong with their plans.
We meet Popofsky in Molaesmyr, and head out to find the Stone Giant Azeersa. She's bee completely corrupted into a Storm Giant, and must be defeated to obtain the spider key.
The group awakens and takes care of Prophet's body with the help of the Skysibil. They handle some business and then return to Uthodurn to meet with the Diarchy.
In a dark, corrupted temple, the party confronts Juriel Kryn, Priestess of Lolth, and her past lives. They trap her in an iron maiden and cast it into a pool of dunamantic power, but Prophet is left behind as the world fades away.
In a concurrent one-short story, our group plays students on a treasure hunt. However, it's revealed to be a ploy of Vesh, as their fates are left in the air when their friend betrays them for a Luxon beacon on her behalf.
